Great Ground Bison Meatloaf
If you love a good meatloaf but fear its high fat and calorie content, swap out the beef for bison for a low-fat, high-protein treat. - 3 lb bison, ground
- 1 1/2 cup plain instant oats
- 1 1/2 cup onion, finely chopped
- 16 tbsp low-sugar ketchup
- 2 whole egg, beaten
- 2 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
- 4 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp, ground black pepper
- 2 tbsp onion soup mix powder
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and mix lightly with your hands (get into it!) until all ingredients are well combined.
Place ingredients into a greased 9x13 baking dish and bake for 50 minutes or until done to your taste.
Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
Slice meatloaf and serve.
